Artist's Comments

Meant to represent the powerful two folded nature of enchantment, the design is to be reminiscent of a “friendly” twofold kiss from a dragon. In this tale, the powerful dragon is one so handsome and talented; however yet so cunning and cutthroat, he will do anything to rise above all, leaving you kissed by his beauty, yet spent by his presence.

Cut with my hand saw is Sterling silver shaped to represent a dragon’s tongue. The design features a broken heart split in two by a single bar splitting the tongue into two sides. The left side has a more caged effect, while the right, a more romantic flow.
All components are hand made, except the hanging chains and the beads in the necklace. This piece is forged by hand and is not a casting. I would love to have the equipment to do castings in the future though.

I will never duplicate this piece so; it remains as a one of its kind. The necklace is made of Iolite stones and Sterling Silver Spacers and the clasp is hand wrought Sterling wire.

Dimensions:
The center pendant is 1 ¼ inches tall with 3 sterling silver chains draping down about 4 inches. And 1 inch wide.
The necklace is 18 inches long and extends to 21 inches

Originally I had intended to hang stones and chain from the bottom of the piece; however I was influenced to use draping chain by a piece that I had seen from another artist who creates a similar style. Here is the link in which influenced the final design.

The detailed scrolls on the pendant remind me of elven jewelry.

It's a very elegant piece. ^^

Thank you so much :)

I had gotten the idea about the different chains from another artist on etsy, and my friend Augie had left his rock collection behind at my apt.

That's very elegant in all its parts, silver work, beading, chain selection. And I find it somehow poignant.

Thank you.. I actually had a specific person in mind when I made this. It originated from a disappointing experience I had with that person, dealing with the realizations of being lied to many times on a creative level. I take art as coming from within and I was so excited and looking forward to collaborating artistically with that person; bouncing ideas back and forth, but they lied constantly about their work and had ripped a few artists off by buying their work and having it cast as their own. I became so disappointed with all of the lies, so I sketched the piece accordingly. Every farting detail on this piece means something to me. Even the stones in the bead selection.
Thank you so much for noticing. It really means a lot to me.

Just a note**The chain though.. was not intended in the original design. That was a later addition. what was intended was specific coloured stones hanging on each side representing warmth on one and cold on the other.
