Meant to represent the powerful two folded nature of enchantment, the design is to be reminiscent of a friendly twofold kiss from a dragon. In this tale, the powerful dragon is one so handsome and talented; however yet so cunning and cutthroat, he will do anything to rise above all, leaving you kissed by his beauty, yet spent by his presence.
Cut with my hand saw is Sterling silver shaped to represent a dragons tongue. The design features a broken heart split in two by a single bar splitting the tongue into two sides. The left side has a more caged effect, while the right, a more romantic flow. All components are hand made, except the hanging chains and the beads in the necklace. This piece is forged by hand and is not a casting. I would love to have the equipment to do castings in the future though. I will never duplicate this piece so; it remains as a one of its kind. The necklace is made of Iolite stones and Sterling Silver Spacers and the clasp is hand wrought Sterling wire. Dimensions: The center pendant is 1 ¼ inches tall with 3 sterling silver chains draping down about 4 inches. And 1 inch wide. The necklace is 18 inches long and extends to 21 inches Originally I had intended to hang stones and chain from the bottom of the piece; however I was influenced to use draping chain by a piece that I had seen from another artist who creates a similar style. Here is the link in which influenced the final design. [link] |

I'd be okay cool as rail/if they'd just let us have health food in hell
I had gotten the idea about the different chains from another artist on etsy, and my friend Augie had left his rock collection behind at my apt.
Thank you so much for noticing. It really means a lot to me.
